theblueballroom is a global communications agency founded in 2001. Since then we have been making business better for our clients by offering strategic internal communications consultancy, creative campaigns and delivering change programmes that really make a difference.

We understand global business. We understand how important employees are to a business and we know how to make them feel good about the work they do. The work we do reaches the hearts and minds of the audiences we are looking to target, wherever they are working in an organisation.

We really do love what we do. We bring a passion and energy to all our work, whether that’s delivering leadership training, running focus groups to test a new strategy or delivering an extensive rewards programme on a global scale, to name just a few. LIZ KREUGER

Consultant, Asia

Liz has worked in marketing and user experience in Hong Kong and Australia, and believes that the customer should be the hero of every story. Her passion is listening to customers and connecting with new people.

KEVIN HOWES

Creative Director, Asia

With 18+ years’ experience as an Art Director in the UK and Australia, Kevin has worked for a wide range of clients, producing digital, TV and print campaigns. His passion lies in the creation of the ‘idea’ that works on all levels, then the craft and execution that brings it to life.

LOUISA WAI

Designer, Asia

Louisa enjoys the challenge of bringing ideas to life and communicating through design. She has over eight years of graphic design experience in Asia and excels in translating complex messaging into compelling reading for audiences.

KATE SHANKS

Managing Director

Kate is passionate about adding magic to the work we do, bringing new thinking and energy to projects. Her seventeen year career spans a number of boutique agencies, working with a vast array of clients on all sorts of exciting projects.

EMILY BATEMAN

Marketing & New Business Manager

Emily is an adaptable and analytical marketer with over 7 years of experience in publishing, retail, accounting and recruitment. She has achieved certificates in SEO and continues to keep up-to-date with trends and changes in the digital sector.

BECKI WILKINSON

HR Manager

Becki has worked in HR for over 12 years, beginning her career in recruitment. She covers everything from employee relations through to well-being. Becki is a strong believer that people are the heart of a company and a huge factor in its success.

BEN HORSLEY

Head of Creative & Digital

Ben has 10 years’ experience in creative leadership, brand development and studio management. He has produced and directed campaigns for enterprise businesses including BBC, Sky, ITV, Cathy Pacific, Emirates, Sony, Smirnoff, and Starbucks.

CARA JENKINS

Senior Account Manager

Cara has been with theblueballroom since 2004, and has worked on diverse projects with many of our clients. From the initial planning stages, Cara manages briefs through to completion with our entire team.

SHANEEN MCEVOY

Account Manager

Shaneen brings considerable experience in both internal and external communications, event management, public relations and multi-site marketing. She has worked with a number of leading brands, franchisees and distributors in the UK and Ireland.

NICKY REDMOND

Account Manager

Nicky has extensive experience in conference production, having produced live events and videos for many well-known organisations globally. She joins us following several years in multi-channel marketing and communication.

CHRISTOPHER DEAN

Senior Content Manager

Chris works closely with our clients to deliver a wide variety of internal communications. He develops and implements strategies, content plans and layouts for a busy mix of campaigns in traditional and modern employee channels.

SOPHIE PENTONY

Content & Account Manager

Sophie is passionate about storytelling and finding the right language for an audience. An English Literature graduate, she loves to engage people with words, from campaign stories to catchy poster copy for our key clients.

GILL SIEMAK

Senior Designer & Traffic Manager

Gill manages our designers and design partners, bringing over 30 years of experience. She produces designs and layout of a wide range of innovative media across print and digital, keeping up-to-date with ever-changing trends.

DAVID LADKIN

Multimedia Designer

Dave is a Creative & Multimedia Designer with nearly 20 years’ experience working on print, events, exhibitions and multimedia. He has worked with some of the world’s top companies and smaller, local businesses, in-house and agency-side.

STEPHEN ROBINSON

Designer

Stephen has over 3 years’ experience in the design industry, graduating from Portsmouth University with a degree in computer games technology. He uses a wide variety of design software, including 3D and video.

Account Manager

Sophie has over 10 years of account management experience, working with a huge variety of brands. She thrives under pressure to produce an outstanding service to clients and has the ability to deliver marketing, comms and event plans.

Account Executive

With a recruitment background, Abbey is organised, adaptable, and used to working in a fast-paced environment. She enjoys being hands on with client accounts across multiple industry sectors, supporting campaign delivery.

Content Consultant

Simon is a copywriter and journalist, helping businesses and brands communicate better. Most of his career in newspapers was spent at Britain’s biggest newspaper, The Sun, writing the headlines for which it is famous.

PR Consultant

Christina has more than 20 years of experience in marketing communications in a career spanning PR, marketing, copywriting and journalism. Her in-house and agency work has extended across a wide range of sectors.
